PRESS: Finland refuses to take Russian LNG from Cryogas-Vysotsk
MOSCOW, May 11 (PRIME) -- Finland's energy company Gasum has refused to load its tankers with liquefied natural gas (LNG) of gas producer Novatek's project Cryogas-Vysotsk, business daily Kommersant reported on Thursday quoting researchers Kpler.
"One of the two tankers owned by Gasum, Coral Energice, entered the port of Vysotsk on April 24 for the last time and left it unloaded (the last batch was carried by the ship on April 12)," the newspaper said.
The second tanker entered the port on April 4 for the last time.
Pipeline supplies of Russian gas to Finland stopped at the end of May 2022, while the country continued buying LNG under a contract with a take-or-pay condition. Gasum's two tankers carried 17,460 cubic meters and 14,200 cubic meters of fuel and took several batches per month each.
